Jasmine: "But... But..." I was trying to find what I wanted to say regardless that it wasn't working. "He..." I paused almost every word. Finally I caught ahold of something to say, "He would never... I mean... He..." I looked at the ground, "He wouldn't... Hurt... his friends..."

Jasmine: I opened the door to the staircase, then turned away into the backyard. I opened the other door and sat on the steps outside the house that led to the backyard.

Anthony: "Cause there isn't anyone that can hurt you, even if there was I'd kill them before they got within a mile of you." I kept my voice low and an attempted calm sound. Though I felt like there was something she wasn't telling me.

Jasmine: "Mr.Deckhand?" I had returned to ask Deckhand something.

Anthony: I sat there, holding her, telling myself nothing could happen, but something still was telling me she was hiding something from me. I let it go and settled for just watching to make sure she was okay.

Jasmine: Not 100% satisfied with the answer I looked and asked, "Whats the difference between me and my brother?"

Alice: "Something's upsetting you." I whispered, closing my eyes.

Jasmine: "But!..." I looked down, now I was confused. "He wouldn't do it on purpose, even if he did..." To me it seemed like he had some kind of dislike for my brother. I didn't understand it, I guess I wasn't really used to people who gave the impression they didn't like my brother. To me I always blocked out the things people said about him, and I didn't understand why I cared what Deckland said about him.

Kyle: "Its nothing, just as long as I know your safe." I said to her, telling myself over and over again that it was nothing.

Alice: "But I'm not safe. I can't be." I say, looking up at him.

Anthony: "Why can't you be safe Alice?" The question was ringing in my head, I couldn't understand why she felt so unsafe when there was no one here that could hurt her.

Jasmine: "Last month?" I grew worried when he said this.

Deckland: I nodded, "We were attacked by a gang and they kidnapped her. She wont really tell me what went on at the warehouse where she was being held but...I know they did horrible things to her. It's made her depressed. Our foster dad died while trying to rescue her..."

Alice: "Because everything I do, everything that happens...It makes me hurt myself." I whispered, "I'm haunted by my own demons and...no matter what I do to make them go away...They always come back."

Jasmine: I sank down, sliding my back against the wall behind me. I wanted to cry after hearing that but I told myself I couldn't, not in front of him. As I was going down I bent my legs and wrapped my arms around my legs going through the arch they made. I felt so weak, I had no clue what to say. I hated feeling weak, I hated it, I absolutely hated it... More then anything else in the world.

Anthony: I couldn't say anything to her, I sat there, holding her. I was in shock from her words. I sat there, the harder I tried to say something the harder it became. Finally words came out of my mouth and I said in a weak voice, "There are no demons here, only you and me."

Jasmine: "I don't think Anthony would do any of that." I finally brought myself to say something. "Errr. This is pissing me off so bad." I stood up and quickly ran back to where I had been sitting on the porch. I wanted to cry now more then I ever did before, I just didn't understand why I cared what he thought about my brother. It wasn't the fact that he didn't love my brother, it was because I cared what he thought, and I didn't understand why.
