The lane down to the address was frosted over, the light snow edging the path though the few footprints of others laid crisp and clean in the powder. It was beautiful, the trees dusted as was many of the plants.
"Did I take a wrong turn?" a girl stood in the path, shivering and her breath visible, "I don't know..."
In her hand was a letter, the paper ancient-looking and slightly torn, maybe burnt at places. A neat script was on leaving a short message along with an address to go to Arcrane House.
The girl began walking once more, only her phone's light showing her the way. Then, the sight that she had been waiting for came into view. At the end of the path stood an old stone-build house, large compared to others. The large clearing surrounded it except a large yew tree, twisted and bent, slightly out of place to the side of the manor.
"Hello?" the girl called, stepping forward.
Footprints in the snow lead to the tree. With a shrug, the girl followed, her arms crossed down to her feet freezing off; Polly failed to get her the warm socks, the misery.
She stopped just short of the tree, putting a fingerless gloved hand onto it's icy bark as she smirked slightly for no reason.
"The first of the new moons..."

[Charlie]

"Evan, come on." Sean said pulling his coat tighter around him. He plunged his hands into the pockets of the coat, and gripped the letter that was in them.
Evan was following closely behind his brother. "I am." As soon as he said that, he slipped on the icy ground, and fell on his butt. "A little help please."
Sean walked over and pulled his brother's hand and helped him up.
The two walked down the street. Evan ran his hand through his hair, as they came up to a path, with a rather large house at the end of it.
"You think that's it?" Sean asked.
"No I think that tree is it." Evan replied with just a slight hint of sarcasm. Sean hit him in the arm.
"Come on." Sean told his brother, as the two began to walk up to the house.

Basically every character has got one of those letters. I think it's best if everyone didn't know each other but you can... Is that what you're asking?

"Th-This place is in the middle of nowhere!" Natalie exclaimed walking with her hands in her coat pocket gripping her letter.
"We must keep going."

"Coming!" Taylor said. "Can you slow down, I can't walk as fast as you."

Becky comes through the alleies and rolls her eyes. "I can't believe this! It's like a labyrinth here. Should've stayed home," she mutteed to herself.

"Who w-would live out here?" Natalie hissed.

[Charlie]

Evan and Sean were smiling until they stopped in the middle of the path. Both twins pulled out their letters. "What do you think it means?" Sean asked.
"No idea." Evan said, his other hand in his pocket holding onto that rock they were told to bring.

She walks through the corners and turns, trying to find the address on the letter.She gets out her book and stops, sits down, and rests for a while. "This place is just a dead end. So why waste energy on this?" Her words had calmed her, but her effort was in vain.

Natalie sat down with her friend close behind and pulled out the letter with the stone she'd gotten in the mail a few days earlier. After reading it, she'd been on the first plane here to investigate.

She pulls out a picture of her mother, who has been lost for years, and then some water to drink. Her bruises began to sting from where her cousins cut her with knives.

"...Hello?!" the girl called hearing voices, "Who's there?"
To her side was a large knife that she took with her, just in case this was all a ruse. Despite this being where she went to gain time alone this was indeed the first time where she had been this far out or even seen this place. Either way with its large flint walls and dazzling heights it was surely a keen sight.
You have the letter...
A whisper seemed to exert itself from the large gaping hole in the tree making the girl jump.
"Yes..." she whispered, taking a step back, "Carl, if you're messin' with me then go home! Man, you know that I hate surprises!"
A laugh titter came from the tree next, soon followed by a thousand words, just above a whisper.
What's going on?

[Charlie]

"Sean did you hear that?" Evan asked, heaving his red northface up on his back.
"Maybe." Sean said. Evan began to walk off the path and into the trees. "Evan, where are you going?"
"Come on, lets go find that voice." Evan said yelling at his brother.
Sean rolled his eyes, and heaved up his green north face back pack. "Alright."
The two walked to where they heard the talking, and found themselves among trees.

"N-Natalie!" Taylor exclaimed.

"Huh?"

"I think something's out there. Can you go look?" Natalie rolled her eyes and trudged into the woods grumbling about worthless tagalongs until she felt someone or...something grab her.

"Aaah!" she said turning aroound to find nothing there. "H-Hello?" she called into the darkness surrounding her. Which way had she come. This was not New York.

[Saiga Ecano]

The alleies seemed to consume her, laughing. The laugh cold and raspe. The light grew darker, fear would not set in her. Growls were heard and shadows moved, but none would cause her to find fright

"I don't believe this," she whispered as the walls came closer.
(Nikki said she'll be back. Rents came home)

Her breath got shallow. She walked away from the moving walls, trying to go straight. It was to lead back to the begining, but every way she went it was a dead end.

My child, just stay calm. I am not the one whom you know as Carl. I am someone that you shall be meeting soon, once the other children have found their way here. Sit still and wait for the rest of the letter-holders to reach the tree, then we shall begin...
The girl nodded slightly, looking out to the manor house and the lack of others.
"If you're out there come to the clearing! Come to the single tree next to the manor!"
This may help my child.
The girl froze, covering her eyes. She let out a whimper as a great pain rushed through her. As she let her hands dropped, her eyes seemed to be scarlet from soreness though they remained closed, screwed up and producing slight tears.
Don't be scared by child.
"I-I... What happened?"
Open your eyes.
Reluctantly, the girl did as she was told. Her eyes had changed from the dull grey that she was born with to a radiant amber. Her hand shook as did her head.
"What happened to me?!"
Though none could see, her vision had changed. Bright silhouettes were scattered across the land, highlighted by various animals.
Call them to you.
"What?"
With the aura.
The girl nodded though she was unsure. With what felt like impulse, she took a deep breath, closing her eyes. In a matter of an instant, she heard whispers crawling through the air, each of them going to each of the silhouettes. She had no idea what was happening, but it just felt...right.

[Charlie]

"This way." Sean told his brothers, their rolls of who was wanting to go had flipped.
Evan followed, and they came to a clearing, with a tree.
The twins froze.
"What is going on here?" Sean said.
"No clue but something is not right." Evan hesitantly said. Well it was said with panic strung throughout his voice.
