Its the end of the world when you see grandma bones walking the streets a day after her funeral

The date is 4/6/12 and suddenly kids start seeing ghosts everywhere. They begin walking the earth foretelling the end of the earth months earlier than it was supposed to. But they dont know either dates. Turns out some people can stop it. But they have to find the old wizard who wonders the streets changing his appearance every day. The problem adults can't see the ghosts. the wizard can but he has survived centurys with out discovery.
