Alec glanced down at Markus, his eyes red for a brief moment. He was reading his emotions for me...to tell me if he was lying to me later i assumed...but i didn't need Alec to tell me that , like everyone else, Markus was upset as well.

It was getting harder to be around her...honestly it was a little awkward to hear Xero and Alec getting married, and knowing Alec...It was nerve wracking just to make sure I didn't do anything to make the guy angry with me.

Xero : At times like this it was just easier to play dumb. "Winter exams are coming soon. It would only make sense that you would be a bit stressed out about them.." I paused and gave him a meaningful look that meant i understood what he really meant...then continued,"You'll do fine though, the chairman and Alec both know your an excellent student, no matter what happens."
I stepped out the door a little more this time, my white dress dragging a bit behind me.
"Xero?"
I turned my head left to see Gray, only in a black shirt and pants, hair wet with melting snow, looking at me with serious eyes.

Mark: "Thanks..." It was meek, honestly I hated the fact that she could see right through me.
I didn't want to get her involved...didn't want her to get hurt...
Oh boy...there was gray.
Time to move.
"I'll see ya around," I waved to all three of them as I walked away. did not want to be caught in that crossfire.

Gray : I waved bye at the new vamp and kept going until i was close enough to see Xero clearly. She looked smaller than i remembered, and paler and thinner. I tried not to frown but it was too hard.
"What are you two doing here?" I asked in an even voice.
Xero looked at Alec who just inclined his head a bit at her. Then he looked at me, "I have to go check on another student," He rubbed the top of Xero's head, looked at me seriously, and then walked off.
I arched a brow.
"Where were you?...Your hair is wet with snow..and you don't have your jacket on either...where were you?"
I turned back to her. She was clutching her gun tightly and her eyes looked angry but her voice was as weak as she looked.
I stepped around her and inside my room.
"I went to go skate. What are you doing in my room,"
I waited for her to respond but she didn't. I heard her caulk her gun. i turned my body to face her ,she was holding the barrel towards my head.

(do you want alec to go talk to nell, kate-unnie? )

Nell: I yelped and jumped to my feet. Al remained perched on my head. "Alastor, don't do that," I said through chattering teeth. It was only then that I realized I was freezing. I wrapped my arms around myself and glared up at the sky. The glare was directed at Alastor, but I couldn't really see him.

She looked...unhappy...cold and angry, or is it sad? I couldn't exactly tell through the chattering teeth...
