Terri-- "No, it's nothing. I'm just trying to figure you out." I lean up against the counter and run my fingers through my hair.

Joel: *dips his finger in and tastes it* Seems good for batter. Wanna stick it in the oven?

Sally: "Okay..." I rolled pieces up and put them on a cookie sheet. Then, I placed them in the oven. "Now we wait, I guess..." Maybe I should just stop talking. Forever.

Terri-- "It means that you're always really flirty with girls, but you never actually make a move. I'm trying to figure that out. It's weird..."

Mayla leaned against the kitchen table, feeling like an outsider. All these people, except this Sally girl, seemed to know each other very well. But that was the story of her life, always ignored. Maybe she could have some fun with these people. It would be easy to cloak the kitchen in an illusion. She thought about where she could make them think they were. Mars might be nice, she could cloak their bodies and make them look like aliens...

Mayla closed her eyes and concentrated, building the world in her mind. Not a single detail was left out. She then built the aliens. With a smile playing on her lips, she raised her arms and projected the world onto the kitchen. She projected the alien costume on the one called "Joel Yummie." She opened her eyes and let a playful smile take hold of her lips. She couldn't wait to see their reactions.

(Everybody's in a kitchen. I think it's Joel's, but I'm not sure. Two or three of the characters are baking cookies. My character got bored so, since can create elaborate illusions, she turned the kitchen into Mars and made Joel Yummie into an alien.)
