Something landed on Soloman's head. He cried out in pain and let loose a few swear words. He examined the offending object, taking it into his hand, it was a necklace. He looked up and the ceiling, it must have fallen through the cracks. Someone was up there, he sensed their fear.

Tommy-

I stirred, and saw Randi at the edge of the ship. I walked up behind her. "Hey." I greeted. "Just thought I would thank you again, for saving my life the other night." I still had fresh burns on my, that were not from her flames, they were from the accident when everyone found out what my weakness was.

Aj: Okay, now I just have to find a way to get back in and get my necklace back. It was important to me and I couldn't just let it go. I peer over the ledge of the roof and look over the deck carefully. It just felt nice to be outside again. I close my eyes and let the cool air clear my mind. Then I slip off the edge, landing with a muted thump.

(kay, i gtg now :p g'night guys ^^)

Randi jumped a little and turned her head in surprise. Seeing it was only Tommy, she relaxed a little. "Hey," she replied, "And really, I was just doing what I was told. It was nothing."

Tommy-

Nothing my butt he thought. He decided to be brave, "So what are ya thinking about." He moved uneasily as his burns panged as they began to blister.

"The ocean," Randi admitted. The water glistened and rippled softly. It seemed calm, peaceful, and content. "It'd be pretty; if I wasn't so terrified of it."

"I know what you mean..." Tommy trailed off, "I'm the same way with fire." he half chuckled. "But they are similar, both need oxygen. Their both pretty cool." He smiled.

Molly: I got out of bed and wrapped my sleepy kitten around my neck like a scarf. With a slight meow he cuddled around my neck and started to purr.

Xander sat below decks in what was called the "Preformer Lounge." It looked more like a broom cupboard than anything else, to be honest. But, Greymalkin, the bat, liked it because it was filled with bugs. In that room, she would never go hungry.

Xander had been sitting with his back to the door, but turned when he heard it open. "Hey, Molly," he said, smiling.

Randi nodded in agreement, smiling. A small red-orange flame appeared in her hand. She watched its reflection flickering in the water. She dropped the flame, sending it gliding over the ocean. Water and flame together were quite lovely to watch.

Tommy's heartbeat quickened at the sight of the flame. He gripped the side of the ship, as he tried to keep looking at the gorgeous sight. But eventually the fear over came him, as he looked down at the fresh burns on his body. He turned around. "Sorry." He whispered.

Molly: I bite my lip. "I have fears too, some of the more dangerous types that I won't bring into conversation because each is followed by a story that I rather not share..." I send him a weak smile then sit down. I bury my face in dimitri's soft fur and sigh. I don't like revealing things about myself..

Molly: I looked up at the cieling trying to think of something to fill the silence when I froze. A huge spider was slowly crawling down the wall and close to me. I choked back a scream, I started to shake and my hair stood on end.

Just then, a bat swooped in. It snatched up the spider in experienced jaws and went dipping and soaring back the way it had come. It landed on Xander shoulder just as he emerged from below decks. The huge spider still dangled from it's jaw. A few clicks left Xander's mouth. If you spoke bat-language, you would understand it to mean, "No, that's alright, Mal. I'm not hungry. You caught it, you can eat it." The bat, Mal, squeaked in pleasure and soared off to enjoy her catch.

Randi, who had extinguished the flame that had been on the water as soon as Molly had come up, stepped away from the ship's railing. Without the warmth of fire to illuminate it, the sea was cold and dark.
