Harlow: I go to sign and stop. "Wait, what is in this that benefits me then?" I demand. I was a sucker for signing things anyway. I hated to read things. Especially when they were dauntingly long. "Well?"

Phantom: "My friendship and loyalty, a five percent discount and a safe house if you need it." I say counting them off.

Harlow: I raise an eyebrow. "Friendship?" I shake my head, trying not to laugh. "And why would I need a safe house? I have a very safe place here." I put my hands on my waist, my head tilted very slightly.

Phantom: "The police have been up my trail after me, they can't find me but some of my less loyal costumars are giving out info. I will eventually have them...taken care of.. but for now safe places aren't that safe." I say seriously.

Harlow: "Fine. As long as it doesn't cost anything." I scribble my name on the bottom. "What about Cass? Will she be safe? And when we're done with this, I'd like to propose a deal with you..."

Phantom: Cass? "Girlfriend or boyfriends, husbands or wives. Important connections are allowed to come along but only the important ones. They can't harsh my mellow though." I say waving it off and folding the paper up. I stick it in my pocket and hook the pen into the neckline of my top.

Harlow: I laugh aloud... Girlfriend? Yeah, right. "She's my room mate." I tell her, biting my lip. Girlfriend... That was funny... Teehee... Okay, Harlow, act manly.
"Would I be able to eliminate the cost of the components if I let you know all that I was working on?" I asked, prepared to barter if neccessary.

Phantom: I did the math in my head. "It would be reduced into the manageable hundreds." I answer.

Harlow: "So could I do that and give you one appliance a week? Like an allowance?" I suggested, quite intrugued by this idea.

Phantom: I went through the numbers. "Maybe.. but no toasters... I have too many to sell." I shuddered. Try to make one piece of toast and end up almost burning your house down when you cna't remember which toaster you put the brea in.... it gives you nightmares...

"Waffle makers?" I suggested. I had a couple spare, that i couldn't wait to get rid of. Once more, i took a couple more steps down, reaching thd bottom.

Phantom: I nodded and followed him slowly on my crutches. I started to wobble then fall. Crap was all that went through my mind.

Harlow: "God, no no no..." I try to catch her as she crashes to the bottom. I attempt to help her up, not quite sure if she's conscious. "Are you okay?!" I yelled, my voice deafeningly loud.

Phantom: I bit my lip to hold back my scream. "Ouch..." I whimper. His voice was so loud, I could feel a wet trickle on my leg.

Harlow: "Damn." I pick her up, holding her like a baby and abandoning her crutches at the bottom of the stairs. As I get to a long wooden table, I lay her on it, straightening her body. I run over to the other side of the basement, opening a little dusty cabinet and fetching my needle and drugs case. Again, I lay that on the table, right beside her. I struggle to read the labels of the little pots of liquid, but put the needle in what I think reads anesthetic, injecting it into her thigh after lifting her dress/ skirt up/ pulling her jeans/ shorts down (sorry!) I sigh harshly, putting my hand on my head and trying to breathe slowly. It should take a few seconds before the pain dulls and numbs.

Phantom: I feel all my muscles tense. I moan for a moment before the pain eventually fades. My muslces relax and so do I. I open my eyes slowly and try to sit up but just end up falling back down to the table. "Ouch."

Harlow: I laugh slightly. "I'd stay still if I were you. But you know, it does help to be a doctor. I mean, I wouldn't normally have my own supply of medicines in my cupboard..." I laughed a little awkwardly, trying to make light of the situation.

Phantom: I gave him a look and stayed down. "Okay just tell me the info now, wasting time wastes money..." I say trying to keep the focus off me.

"Are you okay though? I need to make sure. I mean, I can't have you hurt..." I mumbled on, not used to diagnosing people outside the hospital environment. I took a deep breath to calm myself. That's better...

Phantom: I waved my hand at him. "I've taken worse spills, check out my hip. That scar is from a knife fight, I've even been shot." I say, I didn't like being fussed over. " The info..." I remind.

I frowned slightly. "You can pull your jeans up..." I say, and head off, turning the corner until I was out of sight.

Phantom: I did and laid back down on the table. My head hates me, or I just had an angry mob in my head. " Hello?" I asked, if he left me here I would so kick his ass.

Harlow: Right, where did I put them...? I searched for the rather rubbish looking and smudged homemade blueprints, rummaging through my desk, shuffling papers. "Found it." I mutter softly to myself, taking the crumpled paper and a small wooden to scale model that i made back to where Phantom was.

Phantom: I was numb, it was a strange sensation. I had to hum a tune to keep from giggling.
