"No probs, mate."
He picked the buckets up again and started walking, "Should I pour these back out of the top of the deck or do you still wan' it?"
Ricochet stood there, looking at him through his fringe, not really knowing how his water-based thing worked, but he still liked to pretend that he did.

"I'll take care of 'em." Tommy said, as a steram of water went from the buckets and into the ocean. He could manipulate water, create his own water, and last as long as he wanted under it. But that wasno the limits he could control any aquatic mamal, but sharks, well he preferred them.

"Strewth, that's 'andy! You think that you'll be alright though? Just that ya still look a little off-colour."
He put the now empty buckets down to the side as he started to walk, half-expecting Tommy to follow, but he wasn't all thay fussy.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. It'll take a bit to get fully hydrated again." Tommy said, as he was thankful that could pass for the burn markes.

Ricochet just nodded slightly, putting his hand into his shorts pockets, "If you say so, but if I were you I'd take it easy for the night...'n' find someone to do some moppin' for ya, that's distgustin'!"
He smirked slightly; he knew Tommy just needed a bit of cheering up more than anything. Ricochet knew what The Ringleader did to the acts that failed to do anything. A lump rose to his throat as he tried to swallow.
"See ya la'er ma'e!"

"See ya." Tommy said. He looked longingly at the ocean again, and began his trek to his room at the bottom of the ship.

alrighty.

Tommy woke up the next morning, sore. And sore would not fly. He walked to one of the higher decks, and slipped into the bubbling jacuzzi.

"I thought that I would see you here. Are you okay?"
Ilia stood in the edge of the room, her eyes narrowing onto his face. The look on her face told it all: guilt.
Her claw-like nails dug into the wooden door frame behind her, obviously leaving marks from before. She never liked water, and with it bubbly and looking like it was alive didn't help her at all.

"Of course, and pigs are flying out there... Well, it was last time we were on shore. Maybe that's the new attraction instead of us. Imagine it: Babe with wings!" she waved her hand infront of her, her eyes drifting along too, "Yep, more exciting than the ship-bound Cirque des Sauvages!"
Chuckling slightly, she decided that it was all possible, she was Catwoman in the flesh anyway.

Tommy gave a courtesy laugh. He did not joke about the cirque, never knoing who could hear. He hopped out of the tub, and turned the bubbles off. "Breakfast." he suggested.

Cirque Des Sauvages - Page 9 Empty Re: Cirque Des Sauvages

Post by OpenTheDoor Tue Dec 21, 2010 6:20 pm

"I guess so," Ilia shrugged, "then I need to go set up things, nothing that I need anyway. My act is plain and simple fortunately, no damn tanks or high wires, just Catwoman."
She smirked slightly before walking out, not really knowing what to expect for the day other than a crowd of people that she'd never see again...but there was that one guy that had visited thrice which was nice.
Looking around the door, she hoped that they were alone; they could of heard her little act on Babe and the Cirque, something that could potentially be rather interesting. Sighing with relief, she stepped out and stretched her back, only like a cat can enjoy after a good snooze.
"How do you do that water trick? I mean, you're all wet and then within a few seconds your bone dry."
She was just trying to start up a little conversation, something that usually annoyed her, but she knew from a few other acts, that after a talk from the Ringleader, you kind of need your shipmates to bring you back to normal.
Ilia sighed, leaning on the wall via her side, beginning to whistle again. Thinking that Tommy was taking forever, she absentmindedly started to tug slightly at the crimson collar that hung around her neck, something that she always did whilst in thought. The other hand remained in her jeans pocket loosely as her tail wrapped arond her body, curling around the loop that was formed from her arm. She didn't look human, that's why she was here mostly, but she always thought that if she didn't go down on the docks that day that she could have been living a normal life; the one thing that she so badly wanted.

Tommy walked to her, shook his hair a little, to make sure it didn't drip everywhere. "I don't know, it's just something that comes with being in control of water. I guess." He stated.
He didn't really know, he just assumed, it was an effect of something that the storm he was stuck in and hurt himself in. Or something the ringleader did.
But he did know it was something he could do because he controlled water.

"Okay! Say it don't spray it!"
Ilia practically leapt up the walls; she hated water and she was stuck on a boat. That's why she hardly went up on the stop deck, unless it was nice and sunny. If that happened then she'd try and sneak away with her hammock and catch the rays.
"Anyway, how did you sleep?"

"Oof, harsh. I stopped having nightmares a long time ago frankly; nothing that my bizzare imagination can create is as bad as this place."
Already in less than two minutes she had bad-mouthed the cirque twice, and she felt like she was going to say a third even before breakfast. She knew they were alone anyway, no-one could here so she knew she was safe...or rather hoped.

"It's not that bad, just reliving something that happened a long time ago. It usually doesn't happen." Tommy said, holding the door open for him. "Only after a punishment. So its happened a total of six times, well sort of. Right after it happened, the dream came alot. And I'm rambling." Tommy said, he wondered, if she knew, if she knew not what happened to him, but why his emotions could turn on a dime.

"Nah, your fine, it's better than being silent anyway. I can't stand silence, it's like school with all thosw tests and junk; I can't have that."
She shook her head softly before walking in behind him into the room with many benches. There were a few other acts there, but no-one that she often talked to. That Ricochet guy sat alone in the corner, poking around the things on his plate with...a floating fork? He seemed rather bored and lonely though. Maybe she'd talk to him later.
"What you having then?"
