Island (Characters)

A group of teens, with powers, flying some where. In the middle of the flight they hit turbulence and go down. They end up on an island of mysteries. The weather can change as fast as you can blink. the forest can change itself so you'll get lost. There are island inhabitants that want you dead. And somewhere along the way I think the teens should split into tribes. This is sort of like a combinations of Lost, Lord of the Flies, and X-Men.

Powers: Mimic. Able to mime any person she comes in contact with.
Fears: Staying in a mime forever. Not being able to be herself.

Looks: Long blonde hair, blue eyes, 5'6", slinder, red lips.
Bio: At a young age Ashlyn was classified with multiple personality disorder. Her parents, not knowing what to do, put her into a psychiatric hospital. At first she'd been scared but it grew on her; It helped with all the meds they gave her. She got in the habit of telling the doctors whatever they wanted to hear while trying to hide her mime side. It didn't help that she couldn't control it and personalities sprung out whenever they wanted. Her mother, without her fathers consent and against the doctors wishes, signed Ash out. She booked her on the first plane to New York for the school.

Looks: Long curly strawberry blone hair, wide brown eyes, sort of tall, thin, round child-like face

Bio: When she was only five years old, Jenny's parents split up and Jenny stayed with her mom, who remarried a very rich man when Jenny was seven. Despite the fact that Jenny got anything she wanted, she was very unhappy. You see, her mom and step-dad chose to travel around the world, moving Jenny to a whole new place every summer. But this year Jenny decided she'd had enough, and refused to travel anymore. Now she's on a plane on her way to live with the father she barely knows.

Powers: can disembody himself either partly or completely and possess other people/things (ie, switch the dial of a radio, change the channels of a tv w/out the remote)
Fears: Rats, the color grey, and enclosed spaces of water

Looks: Tall, skinny, narrow face, dark, sapphire-ish eyes, Short, white hair (he's kinda albino)
Bio: He was the result of a teen pregnancy and was left in the care of his grandmother and mother until he was about 2 and dumped at an orphanage before his mother died in a car accident where she was drinking. Then, when he was about 5 or 6, a man came by claiming to be his father and adopted him. For the next 6 years he was experimented on horribly using sensory deprivation techniques (like in door to december) to see if the soul could be parted from the body. As a result, he became withdrawn and 2 years after an attempted suicide, he was finally taken away from his 'father'. He has undergone therapy since, but still hasn't fully recovered, though he keeps his problems to himself and doesn't talk much, if at all. He gets bullied a lot due to his albino appearance, and hasn't stayed at the same school for more than 4 months for various reasons. His next school, a disciplinary school with a small student body, is his last chance before he will be sent to military school.

Name: Ivory Laithe Carter

Powers: Shifter

Fears: She is afraid of being abandoned and kites

Looks: Long(lower back) blue-black hair, slightly upturned tangerine eyes, pale skin, slender- with some 'boobage' (cirrus, lol), tall, heart shaped face. She is part Japanese... her eyes are the give away.

Bio: When Ivory first dicovered she was a shifter she was 9 years old. She had shifted into another person overnight. Her pasrent were shocked. After a few days, her father had walked out on her mother and never came back. Ivory always though that she was bad and was the reason her father left, but her mother would tell her otherwise. She had a fairly normal childhood, aside from the shifting. She would play with other kids and stuff. At age 13, she got arrested for robbing 3 banks. She was only in jail for a few weeks. That was when she learned how to shift into fog. Over the years she has mastered her shifting and has become extremely powerful.

Bio: Lisa worked for a school for people with powers when she was 25. Before, she'd actually went to the school until she graduated. After that she sold ice sculptures to party planners or whoever wanted one. She wasn't making a good profit from it so decided on going to college to get a dependable job. That was until the old school master invited her to be a teacher, she readily accepted.

Bio: freelance, assassin, con artist, etc. takes no side, only in it for the thrill. She was already on the island living there alone, she enjoys newcomers as it gives her a challenge and makes it slightly more fun for her. She would probably be quite nice if people she could be bothered to know people. Pretends that she was on the plane and tries to manipulate the people's relationships with each other.

Bio: It's unknown how long his species has lived on the island. They're hunters. Anyone on the island that doesn't look like them is invading their territory and will die.

Bio: Not much is known of James' past, he likes to keep it that way. One that was clear and had his mother staying away from her child; he loved killing the animals around the house. His mother finally understood what was happening one day and removed all the animals from the premises. His family is rich and he's an only child. He gets whatever he wants and when he wants it.

bio: he's reached maturity, but just barely, and is put off by his lack of height. However, he can be very vicious and has a sadistic nature towards his prey. He's keen senses and nimble nature usually puts him as lookout. He can be very ambitious, and the only thing he cares about is his sister
