Name: Valorie Shay
Age: 22
Gender: FM
Personality: Valorie (nicknamed Val and/or Valor) is a shoot-first-ask-questions-later, trigger happy girl. She is loyal. Loyalty means a lot to here, but you have to earn her loyalty. She is incredibly crude, but she's the type of person you want leading you into battle (she's got the epic last stand speeches all prepped, so when the crew is cornered by Reavers their morale will never falter)
Back story: Valorie is the daughter of a filthy rich politician who lives on Ariel. She was sick of the 'proper' life and wanted action. So, naturally, she enlisted in the Alliance army. Only to find that she hated taking orders and that the Alliance was, in a word, wrong. She deserted her platoon and joined ranks with the Browncoats. She wanted by the Alliance because she is a traitor (in their eyes). She patched together a small crew of miscreants to join her in the sky. She is the captain of a Firefly class ship.
Favored Weapons: Valorie's favored weapon is an assault rifle, but she is also deadly with pistols.

Name: Colette Washburne
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Personality: Colette is stubborn, but if you can gain her trust she’ll never desert you. she loves to have a good time with friends, but is always ready for battle, and she loves flying.
Back Story: Her parents died in a ship crash when she was 9. She’s been on her own ever since, drifting from home to home. she never really found one that was right. Colette turned 16 and snuck onto a ship and while everyone was battling Reavers she started flying. She shook everyone off (they were on the roof of the ship) and flew away. Eventually, she ran out of gas and crash landed, where she met the captain and became the pilot ^^

age: 20, a genius despite her age
looks: curious dark royal blue eyes that are always thoughtful. she has light brown hair with hints of natural red highlights here and there. slight olive toned skin.
bio: her parents were astounding physicians back on her home planet, but were quite small minded. they had no want of wanting to help anyone but themselves and the people of their small community. So Scotia set off to find a way to help people in a way that stretched out to the many planets of the solar system. she's usually quiet and observes from afar. she has glasses that she wears when she reads and loves teaching people things that they didn't know.
other skills: she knows self defense and used to take Tae Kwon Do and is a 2nd degree black belt.

Personality: Angel is one bad-ass chick with an attitude. She’s stubborn, but if you can gain her trust she’ll never desert you. Angel may be a mercenary, but she isn’t cold. She loves to have a good time with friends, but is always ready for battle.
Back Story: Her parents died in a mine collapse when she was 10. She’s been on her own every since, drifting, she never really found a home. Angel turned 16 and joined a different smuggling crew, she found her way around weapons quickly and has been a hit man every since.
Favored Weapon: grenades , but is handy with anything

Plot:
Strangers and secrets. One Firefly class ship (yet to be named), many stories to be told. The adventures of the crew and passanger, whether they be up in space or docked for a job. I'd image we'd be rebels like Mals crew 'cause it's more fun that way. We can be scavengers or fighters. We can set it during the war, or after. We can fight Reavers or run from the alliance. It's all up to us! ^-^

Gender: Male
Personality: Talen is a laid back guy, who can be very serious and intimidating when times call for it. He will be loyal if you prove you are to him. He is fun to be around and he is very charming. Being slightly flirtatious helps him with the ladies.
Looks: He has black hair with a sheen like a rainbow, curious gold eyes that turn green at night or when he is angry, slightly tanned skin, tall, lanky muscles, full lips, sharp cheekbones, very handsome
Favored Weapon: Anything that can cause the slightest damage.

I haven't seen this but I am going to watch the TV series soon. I watched Serenity, before I knew it was a tv series, and thought it was awesome! I'll join in later if I can.

Val: I leaned back on the ramp that led to the cargo bay and looked around. Any day people. Just jump up and ask for a job. If I like you, you'll get a job. If not, I'll riddle you with holes. I stroked the barrel of my assault rifle and grinned.

sweet. val just needs to vet him. if she doesn't like him, she'll shoot him.
but that would be a very quick chat so she probably won't shoot him XD

Talen: I stepped forward when the woman asked for job recruits. "I could use a job." I said, looking at the others who stepped out. Brave souls.

Val: I raised my eyebrows. A kid. He couldn't be more than 19. I had three years on him. I smiled and carressed the barrel of my assault rifle.
"What can you do kid?" I asked from where I lounged on the ramp. "For example can you one-shot someone in the head with an assault rifle while an entire retinue surrounded him?" Just an example. Just something I had done on my free time.

[Avery]

Talen: "I could if I had to. I'll do whatever I have to." I said firmly. She loked like the stern type. "And I'm excellent with weapons." I said smoothly.

Val: I laughed. "You're hired." I jumped to my feet. "Clear out," I ordered the stragglers. The crowd dispersed and I was left alone with the kid. I slung my assault rifle and looked up at him. I had three years on him; he had three times two inches.
"What's your name?" I asked.

Talen: I grinned at the news. "Talen Bretford, at you service." I said, looking down. I watched the rest of the people leave and I wonderd how I got the job. Oh yeah! Definitely the looks.

Val: "Come with me," I ordered. I walked inside and punched the button to close the cargo bay doors. "Stand." I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a tin cup. I placed the cup on a box in the far corner of the cargo bay.
Talen wasn't where I had left him. "You have to learn to take orders," I snapped. I marched up to him and man handled him to the opposite corner of the cargo bay. "Shoot the cup."

[Avery]

Talen: "Um, sure." I said, aiming the gun. I hit my mark with extreme percision and smiled, but I shouldn't be that excited. It was only a cup. and I didn't follow her orders very well. "Okay."

[Kate-Anders(unnie)]

Val: I laughed and grabbed the gun out of his hand. "Prety good shot," I said. "Now tell me, why do you want off Persephone?" There had to be a reason; there always was. Hell, even I wanted off Persephone even though I had the makings of something that could vaguely resemble a crew.

[Avery]

Talen: I shrugged. "I don't really no, just a 'higher calling' I guess." I said. my answer was simple enough. I didn't really know why I wanted off.

[Kate-Anders(unnie)]

Val: "Ah-huh." Sure and I was wanted from here to the edge of space. "Well, make yourself at home. There's food in the kitchen, but you can't eat any; we only eat at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don't want you stuffing your face on my food rations." I walked through the kitchen. "Rooms are over here," I called. "Choose one; just not mine."

Talen: I nodded and went into one of the rooms, claiming it. I sat on the bed and pulled ot a sketch book from the bag I had and began to draw. I wasn't hunger, so she had no need to worry.
