As Maryane slept, dreams began to haunt her. She was losing everything. Police were after her. Her parents came, stole the black closes she loved, and made her wear pink. She woke up crying. Without a thought, she went to Alex's room. "Alex?" She wiped a tear from her eye. She didn't notice that only one sleeve was on her shoulder. The other was all the way done at her elbow. Sleep had also made the tee shirt a bit shorter, so with every step something showed. But she was too busy trying not to cry to care. "I'm sorry if I woke you... But I had a bad dream," she began to cry harder.

Don't let her in this bed! You know that you can't keep your hands to yourself and if you let her in the bed you're going to-"Get in," she sighed, rolling back the covered as she took in the girl's appearance, thankful for the dark so the girl couldn't see her blush.You never listen....

She crawled in, getting close, trying not to cry anymore. "I'm sorry if I woke you," she sniffled.

Maryane fell back asleep, cheek n cheek beside Alex. It was so confortable, she couldn't help but fall sleep. She couldn't help that she got closer to her. And amazingly, no more nightmares.

Alex was bright red, not daring to move an inch, however, while her mind was focused on her face, her hand had reached out to cup the smaller girl's waist.

Alex's blush was near glow in the dark. They were so close.....just an inch and she was sleeping after all so she wouldn't- No! Bad Alex! No! Hands AND LIPS to yourself! she slowly leaned forward until their lips touched.

That was the instant that Alexa regained controll of her mind and pulled away, "I-I ah-....sorry," she said softly, withdrawing her limbs from around the girl and turning on a lamp as she stood.

"No one has to know if you don't want them to." She said calmly, trying not to raise her voice. "Besides, it's not like this just chances everything. It's not like you proposed or something." She took a breath. "And if you cared about what everyone else would say, you would still be with your parents and instead of here."
