The New World ((Open!))

Hey, I'm Solo- the new kid 'round here! LOL

It was back in the Old Country that we heard the first wisp of gossip. A whole New World? It seemed impossible! Preposterous! Yet, none the less it sparked the imagination. We were drawn to this land of ferocious dragons and conniving natives.
Who or what can we trust?
Can we possibly escape?
My only hope is worn tapestry that depicts good dragons whose scales shine silver and gold. In the picture they help the humans.
I will find these dragons and try to convince them to help us, for without some kind of advantage I fear we will never see home.

The young woman glanced up from the letter at the King and Queen. Dragons? It was hardly believable.
"Captain Lemonde was found dead four days after that letter was sent. We just received word,"
The woman nodded.
Gulping, the King added, "We believe that you are the only one who has a chance to right this wrong. Will you go to the new world to save them? The reward will be great,"
The woman hesitated before finally speaking. "Yes," A few members of the court looked surprised- they had not yet come accustomed to her lack of respect.
The Queen sighed in relief. "Thank you, Kitiara,"
The young woman nodded once more, uncomfortable.
"Assemble your crew and prepare to sail in one week," The King knew it was risky to rely on a mercenary, but she had proven herself trustworthy.
With a small bow, the woman turned and strode out of the throne room, her hand on her sword as if she already contemplated the dangers that she would soon face.

Name: Kitiara Blueblade
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Looks: Long, dark hair, and amber-gold eyes. She's short but lithe, with an athletic build.
Personality: Mysterious, quiet, thoughtful. She's brave and would give up her life to save a stranger without hesitating, but she has a very hard time speaking before an audience, like the King, Queen, and their court. She makes a great leader and a loyal friend.
Occupation: Mercenary, swordswoman.
Past: She was born to a once wealthy family slowly going bankrupt. She became a mercenary to provide for her family. In the war for Triamsphen she was bought into service by the King and Queen, and eventually saved the war, though she rarely talks about it.
Other: The steel of her blade is a dark blue. It was pasted down to her through family and is said to be stained with the blood of black dragons.

Past: she is a born as a set of triples her sister xenia just move away and never heard from again which hurt her and her brother frost and her family be acurse of practicing witchcraft but no one had proof of that true or not
Other: she got scar on her wrist for unknown reason

Looks: sliver hair, purple/blackish eyes, tall, lean has a on his wrist that from the words maxia
Personality: out going, very smart, clever, unlike his sister forever he doesn't have a temper
Occupation: a knight for the king and queen

Name: Hawk Maelstrom
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Looks: Hawk has shaggy black hair and intense turquoise eyes. He has an athletic build and is very agile.
Personality: A tough life has hardened Hawk's heart. He tends not to get attached to people. He is polite and courteous, but doesn't make any attempts at being friends.
Occupation: Quartermaster of a ship
Past: Hawk has had a rough life. His small hometown was raided by some sort of cult. They kidnapped his mother, and his father was killed trying to fight them off. Hawk and a few others managed to escape. He fled to the docks and got a job on a ship. Having worked his way up to quartermaster, he is a very sucessful sailor. The King and Queen have employed the ship he works on to carry the others over to the New World.
Other: He has a little sister, but she was lost during the raid. He suspects that one of the raiders kidnapped her, but he is unsure.

Name: Amara Maelstrom
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Looks: Amara has silky, jet-black hair that falls just past her shoulder blades. One of her eyes is turquoise blue, while they other is a bright green. She is tall and slender.
Personality: Amara is generally cheerful. She can have a nasty temper if aggravated. She is caring, nurturing, and loyal, with a bit of a motherly streak.
Occupation: Amara is an advisor to the Queen. The King and Queen have "adopted" her, if you will.
Past: She honestly doesn't remember. (She suffered a massive head injury during the raid.)
Other: Amara is Hawk's little sister, but neither of them knows that.
She keeps pet mice. She always has two with her: Luna and Sol.

Personality: stubborn, shy to strangers, generally happy, loud if you know her, not very trusting, caring,loyal, super mothering, the cup is half full kind of person, funny.
Occupation: healer, prefers to be an animal healer but does heal humans too.
Past:June lived with her mother till she was fifteen and her mom died of desease, she hates herself for not being able to cure her. Her father left her and her mother seven years ago to work for the king but he never came back. June has supported herself independantly ever since her mother's death, she had risen up the social chart for her ability to heal. She was employed by the king to look after his hunting hounds and horses.
Other:
June adopted a runt from one of the litters of the king's hounds. He is still a puppy (six months) but never leaves her side. His name is Jack.
