Raena and the Forty Thieves ((OPEN!))

Raena put her hands on her hips a looked out over her band of thieves. They were a motley lot, coming from every corner of this crazy world, but, for thieves, they were honorable people. Her band of thieves steel from the rich and give to the poor.

Someone has to take care of the people.

After the good king's death their lives became a lot harder. The new king taxed the regular people and pampered the rich, created unfair laws, and banished the dragons and the elves. The kingdom has been cheerless and strained for almost as long as anyone can remember.

Raena sighed. She had let her thoughts wander again. Almost habitually, she touched the large, shiny gold stone in her pocket, feeling the energy that poured off of it. The dragon egg was often comforting. At the end of her watch, the leader strode back into camp nodding at on of the thieves to take his turn guarding.

You can be a thief, or a regular person. You could even be the King or Prince if you wanted to.
Dragon eggs are EXTREMELY rare so like only one or maybe two others can have one.
For my sanity, keep the number of girls and guys even.
Try to make your characters very original.

Name: Raena (Rae)


Age: about 19


Gender: Female


Position in Society: Leader of the band of thieves.

Appearance: Dark red hair, gold eyes, tan skin. She’s short but lithe and graceful. She has one noticeable scar that winds down her right arm.


Personality: Courageous, wise, calm, thoughtful, trustworthy, and brave. She has a temper but usually can control it. Her out-look on what the Kingdom has come to is just sad, she doesn’t feel much more about it.


Skills: She can read any person like a wide open book, and no one without some training can read her emotions. She’s unstoppable with a sword, and is a good street fighter as well. One of her most useful talents is her ability to lead people.


Fears/What they’re bad at: She’s deathly afraid of fire, and loosing the people she cares about. Raena has little trouble with other weapons, but cannot seem to master the Bow. Even though she’s good at it, the young leader is afraid of speaking in front of people.


Past: She was the bastard offspring of a maid and a guard in the king’s castle. As soon as she was born, the girl was abandoned at the steps of the kindly blacksmith in a poor town. She was raised to be moral and to take care of herself. When she turned 17 Rae left to look for a better life for her and her aging foster dad, eventually forming the band of thieves and getting him money that way.


Other: The blacksmith fashioned her flute when she was young, and she became good at it. She still plays it whenever she has the chance.

Position In Society: She is a reble princess of the nabooring kingdom, she is now in the band of theives
Personality: smart, loyal, quick, caring for her subjects, sly
Skills: she is skilled in almost every wepon and she is very agile and fast
Fears/ What they're bad at: she is scared of spiders, and she hates when people bug her, she is good at losing her tempure,
Past: She was bannished from her kingdom when her father and mother were killed. She was given a scar running across her face down her right arm and it ends on her right hand. Her brother is still in the kingdom but he turned his back on her a long time ago.
Other: she was given a silver, gold, green, and blue dragon egg for her 10th birthday. She was bannished 3 mounths later

she has blonde hair and she has a green eye that she hides with her hair, that eye is almost blind.

Personality: Snarky, humorous, a good listener, cudly like a teddy bear. But tempramental
Skills: He is the best theif in the band next to Rae, the numer 1 guy so to say. He is quick with any type of sword.
Fears/ What they're bad at: Almost everything besides stealing and sword play. he fears death, and falling and being touched.
Past: He doesn't remember his family (but i know it ). He has been on the streets for a long time. He practically grew up their. began stealing so he can survive. Has three distinct large scars covering his entire face.
Other: He has a lime green dragon egg. He is farely short 5'5. Black hair lime green eyes. Muscular, but only because of sword play. He doesn't look like it. Slightly tan.

Personality:outgoing, Loud, annoying at times, funny, flirty, super stubborn, Natural lyer/actress, loyal to extremes, clever, a nurturer so super protective, Is a hugger so way too cuddly for her own good, trusting.
Skills:Shes very clever and rather think herself out of a problem than fight her way out, shes fast and small(5"),She fakes or hides her emotions quite well.
Fears/ What they're bad at:She has a huge fear of hieghts, shes always afraid of hurting people and hates seeing people or animals hurt.
Past:Her parents abandoned her and her brother when they were seven and they were taken in by a con man and raised by him till they were sixteen. Then the man was killed and they have taken over the conning bussiness, they're pretty good at it too.
Other:She has a pet cat, pure black, named Bells.

Personality:sweet, outgoing, shy at times, uses humour as armor, mysteirous, loyal, protective, sly, caring
Skills:He is large(5"11.5)strong and can easily fight his way out, he likes tofight out rather than think it out, he is fast and sporty and a an opposite to Lucy but is pretty sly.
Fears/ What they're bad at: He is always afraid of losing his sister and is too caring to hunt, so his sister and him go hungry often.
Past: Same as Lucy

Position In Society: He is supposedly a thief in Raena's band, but little is known about what he actually does.
Personality: Felix is laid-back. He doesn't appear to have a care in the world. He is a bit manipulative and sarcastic and seems to look out for himself before anyone else.
Skills: He is sly and quick-witted. He is an excellent speaker and could convince almost anyone of anything. He could sell ice cubes in the artic or furnaces in the Sahara if he set his mind to it.
Fears/ What they're bad at: He's never told anyone any fears of his, though he definitely has them. They will most likely make themselves evident as time goes on.
Past: No one really knows. Felix himself might not even know. He just showed up at the thieves' base one day and made himself at home.
Other: Felix has a pet fox named Maple. He is one of the lowest money-makers in the group. He seems to take great joy in the fact that he annoys almost everyone.
