I dropped just infront of him, a cane clasped in hand. Though my new blue velvet suit was rather plush, it was already dirty.
"You should be with The Hearts. They're your advice, why not heed it?"
We both new that ever since he was a child I was there. Everyone doesn't know my age and never will do; the only thing was the simple matter that I knew more about this city than anyone else.

Does the city have a name?

Lupine: "And have you yet come to a resolution to how you're going to hault the increase of problems in Ironville? No, so it's either we finish this tonight or we continue for the rest of the week. I know The Hearts are not favourable but they are there whether you like it or not...unfortunately."
That was always a pressing matter; The Hearts have split from the Endless before and they'll do it again so obviously.

He raised a brow at the young boy before sighing deeply. Who was he kidding?

With a thwack of his cane, they came outside a lonely dark-incased bar, a small wooden sign hanging outside, creaking in the string winter wind: Lupine's watering hole for many-a century.

Lupine stays silent but takes a seat in a booth in the corner of the room; he didn't care if Sterling followed or not, but he hated being near enough his mother.
"The usual and whatever he wants," he told the tender on passing, waving at the Endless before clacking his cane down on the floor.

"Just because I'm a Painless it doesn't mean that you have to follow, eh?" he raised a brow at the boy, "What's on your mind?"
He knew there was something up with him, it was just obvious, well at least to the vampire guard. The Endless seemed to be wandering around aimlessly; you didn't even need to be a vamp to work it out actually.
He put his cane against the side of booth before raising his glass to his lips. Though the glass was tinted, it was obvious what was inside: blood.
