Rose walked in, sketching as she sat behind Val, humming.

Daiya stumbled in, sunglasses and a hoodie on, both obscuring his face. His shoulders were slumped and his backpack hung off one shoulder haphazardly as he slunk to his desk for the morning class.
He sunk down into his chair with a quiet groan and his backpack hit the floor with a rather large thud, making him grimace under the cover of his hood.
"G'day.." He mumbled to his... acquaintances.

Lilac skipped in, perky and bright as usual, though dark shadows hid behind a bit of makeup under her eyes. She masked a yawn with a smile as she sat, brightly greeting her friends with hugs, she even gave a quick hug to Valyrie who seemed to cringe away.

Valyrie cleared her throat, vowing to make an effort to be nice to Daiya today. It wasn't like he was to blame for Elizabeth preferring him. Much. ''You don't look well...are you ill?'' she asked, genuinely seeming truly concerned.

Rose watched them quietly, chewing on some jerky.

Daiya looked up, pushing back his hood a bit and his sunglasses up.
His eyes were rimmed with black and the black seemed to curl and fade off into little intricate designs that eventually faded into his flesh, he rolled his black irises sarcastically.
His lips were black too, though a shabby use of concealer covered them in an attempt to seem normal though the concealer itself didn't even match his skin.
He offered her a side smile which exposed his sharp teeth.
"Yeah. Just peachy, what 'bout you? Sunlight ain't too bright today?" He replied, his mood and tone sour.

Lilac grimaced.
Daiya was not in a good condition, she wondered why he even bothered coming to school.
Lilac knew he had his reasons though, as she had hers and Valyrie had hers as well as all of their friends.
Reasons.
They were peculiar things.

Rose sighed, "Guys grow up." She said, tapping her claws on the table

She nodded, ''Elizabeth not translated the book from yesterday yet?'' she observed with a frown, ''Not good indeed.''

Daiya let out a bark of a laugh, one that was humorless.
"Ya think?" He snapped before letting his sunglasses drop back in place and pulled his hood over his head.
He grumbled something about what a 'Fucking beautiful shitty cloud storm' they were having and muttered a few other obscenities for good measure.
Yeah.
He was not a happy man.


Lilac glanced to Rose with a sad look on her face.
"He can't help it, it's not his fault that he has to deal with... with this kind of thing.. cut him a bit of slack.." She said, empathetic.
She rubbed her arms, a sudden chill over the bare skin, and knew she should have worn a sweater over today's tank top.

Rose rolled her eyes behind her book, taking a peek at Lilac with a blush then bringing out her sketchbook.

She rolled her eyes, ''If you're going to act that way, then I just won't help you '' she sighed, turning away from him, ''although you should know I know all about your condition.'' she fixed her gaze on eavesdropper who quietly turned back to her work, ''However, if you would like my assistance, feel free to ask.''

Lilac turned back to her deemed and tapped a penicl to the desk, feeling strangely figity today.
Wierd.
Her nerves were sensing something and tensing her up, though it might just be the tension between Daiya and Valyrie.
She grimaced.

Daiya sighed roughly.
"I'm just in too much.,,, pain to be nice right mow, just know I'm not trying to start a fight, my word choice is just a little... Poor"

She nodded, ''Understood,'' she pretended to be working, ''Though my offer still stands. I can help you.''

(wow.. sorry about the amount of typos, it was early and I didn't have my glasses on... it seemed right at the time...embarrassing..)

Daiya grimaced.
"I.. I'd like to have your help.." He said, though it felt almost strange to be asking the girl who pretty much hated him to help him.
Their personalities clashed, he guessed, there really wasn't a reason, that he could think of, of why she didn't like him and he didn't like her.

She nodded, ''Very well.''

Rose tapped Lilac's shoulder, "i made ta somethn.."

Lilac glanced to Rose, her eyes wide and interested but a bit startled.
"Hmmm? What was that?" She asked, blinking.

Daiya dropped his head back down to his desk, trying to sink into it.
He would rather be chained to a bus stop than here.

She handed her a drawing of her with a wolfish grin, " Like it?.."

Lilac looked it over, evaluating the drawing with a little smile.
"I do it's really good, all I can draw are comicky things.." She said, her smile big now. She handed the drawing back and tilted her head to the side, that was really nice.
"Thanks for choosing me as your muse."

She smiled and nodded, returning to her studies with a slight blush.

Lilac turned her attention the teacher who had slunk in and begun the day's lesson. She listened intently, she couldn't afford a single grade to drop.
She had to be a perfect student for her mom.
She had to.

Daiya couldn't have given a more uninterested fuck if he was dead.
He felt dead.
Maybe if he acted dead they'd let him go home.
Worth a try.

Valyrie sighed, seeing her rivals condition, she stood and left, dialing the school as his mother. When they called, she was already in her seat.

Rose drew charts and graphs, her earbud in one ear.

Daiya was poked and told he could leave.
His plan worked?
The fuck?
He got up and slunk out, not bothering to say farewell to anybody.
He had sleep to do and a very important movie to watch.
