"I'm Louis," he introduced himself, his voice coming out a little lisping. He ran his tongue over his teeth. He still had his huge tiger teeth. That was bad. They didn't quite fit in his human mouth. He concentrated and tried to shrink them. It didn't work very well. At least, he thought, he wouldn't lisp anymore.

Louis nodded, moving his jaw side to side, trying to make his teeth fit. "We early experiments have a lot of kinks left to be worked out," he said softly. He looked at the centaur girl, "Who's she?"

Shawna struggled even more. "Subject 13? What the heck are you talking about? Where am I?"
The doctor/scientist shook his head, "So many of the same questions. You still don't need to know the answers to them, subject 13." With that, he turned and left the room.

Sapphire: I looked at him indignitly. " I'm Sapphire." i said my voice coming out shyly. Not at all what I wanted. He was lucky he looked kind of like a regular human at least. No horse body attached or tiger body.

Sapphire: " Hey." i said. " Very nice to meet you, it would have been better if we wernt like this, " i said motioning down, " And if we wernt here." I said

"Nice to meet you, Forever, Sapphire," Louis said, his voice strained. He rubbed his wrists again. They burned horribly. He closed his eyes, his breath became deep and shaky. Anger began to burn inside him. His teeth grew very large, and claws erupted from his hands. No, no, no, he thought frantically, Not here, not now. No, calm down.

His two top canine teeth erupted out off Louis' mouth. Stupid saber-tooth tiger blood. He felt his knees and elbows start to turn backwards, it sounded like a giant knuckle cracking. No, no, no, he thought again, Calm down, calm down.

Sapphire: I saw forever step in front of me. It offinded me and made me feel self contionce. I got ready to rear and buck if he got mad.

Dylan: I looked at the other girl for a second, studying her. "Dylan," I said, "my name is Dylan."

Bianca: I stared back at my roomate. "Want to go adventuring?" I stood up slowly, pain attacking my every movement.
Dylan looked at me worriedly. Despite all her injuries, she seemed to be able to walk just fine. "Are you okay?"
I nodded and waved her off. She clearly wasn't in any shape to help me out. "C'mon, let's go somewhere other than this room," I told her, finally getting up.
Together we walked out of the room and into the empty hall. "Where to?"

Sapphire: I started to go off along the hallway and look into the other rooms. Where was my sister? was she even here? Or even alive?

Dylan: I began to talk to Bianca. We were trying to find out how we got here. She told me about getting hit by the car, and then waking up here. She told me about her life on the streets, and then she asked me how I ended up here.
I realized that I couldn't remember. All I could remember was that I was with Anna, and then I was alone here. I started to cry again.
Bianca: I looked and Dylan and was surprised to see her sobbing. Worried that I had said something wrong, I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and got her to sit down on the floor, leaning against the wall. "Don't cry," I whispered to her, but she kept on crying.

Louis closed his eyes and tried to take deep breaths. A rumbling voice in his head said, Don't fight me. Let me help you get revenge. Those men in white coats did this to you, made you what you are. Now they punish you for it. Show them how wrong they are.
Louis ignored it and tried to think of anything but anger. Pretty soon, it worked. His claws receded into fingernails and his teeth shrank. His teeth were still sharp, but they weren't so huge anymore. He half-smiled at Forever and Sapphire. "Uh, sorry," he laughed a little. Some of the first test subjects, himself included, had a lot of problems.

"You don't have to worry about that," Louis promised. Unless, of course, he added in his mind, I get really mad. He had a tendancy to surrender to the primal voice, and lose control.

Shawna pulled against the straps even harder. "Help!" she called, unsure if anyone would hear her, "Someone, anyone, help!"

Louis nodded and followed the sound. It wasn't that hard. Whoever was calling for help was shouting at the top of their lungs. He and Forever followed it to one of the operating rooms. Louis looked in the tiny window on the door and saw a girl strapped to a table. He pushed the door open and walked in.

Shawna looked at the two people who had come into the room. They didn't have lab coats, or clipboards, or anything. Maybe they were here to help her.

Shawna sat up. "Thank you," she said, "Where am I?" She looked around the room again. It was too barren to be a real hospital room.
