"WHAT?!" Shawna nearly screamed, "That's insane!" She paused, thinking, then began muttering to herself, "I probably got a head injury or something and now I'm hallucinating. Or, these two people are escapees from the hospital psychiatric ward. So many things make more sense."

Dylan: I sniffled, and wiped my eyes. I had no idea why I had just broken down like that- it wasn't like me.
I stood up and forced myself to calm down. Bianca stood up behind me, using her sleeve to wipe my nose. That almost set me off again- Anna had done the same thing I had cried while our parents fought, and again when they divorced and our father moved to a whole other country.

Bianca: I put my hand around Dylan's shoulder, comfortingly. To be honest, I had always wanted a little sister, so it was nice to have Dylan.
"Are you okay, now?" I asked.
She nodded, and pushed her brown hair from her face. "Sorry about that. I just... I... My sister, I don't know where she is."
I patted her back and we began to walk down the hall. As we walked, we came across a room with an open door. There was a group of people in it, but they didn't look like doctors. I glanced at Dylan, and she shrugged.
I took a step into the room, hoping that the people knew why we were here. "Um, hi?" I said, trying to get their attention.

"Oh, great," Shawna muttered, looking at the girls who had walked in, "More crazies."

Louis looked at the girl, she couldn't have been more than twelve or thirteen. "Look," he said gently, "We're telling the truth. We're all some kind of experiment. Something about combining animal genes with human genes."

[Fallen rose]

Bianca: I looked at all of them, confused. "First of all, I'm not crazy. Second of all, experiment? Anyone going to explain anything to us?"
Dylan was glancing at each of us in turn, her head tilted to the side. She was clearly trying to put the pieces together.

Louis turned to the other two girls. "Yes, experiment. Take it from us," he gestured to himself and Forever, "We've been here awhile, some of the first experiments."

[Fallen rose]

Dylan: I shrugged. "I bit a guy today," I told them. "I don't know about any other changes. A mirror might help."

Bianca: I didn't know how Dylan could be so calm, I was completely freaking out. "What do you mean changes? What is the experiment?"

Dylan: Something clicked in my mind from when I looked in the mirror earlier. I turned to Bianca. "What colour are my eyes?"
"A very dark brown."
"Yeah, my eyes used to be blue," I announced.
Bianca took a step away from me as if I had magically transformed into some sort of monster. Not that I didn't blame her, I probably would have done the same thing.

Bianca: "What?" I cried, at the same time as Dylan. We exchanged looks, Dylan's surprised, and completely caught off guard, mine probably just down right terrified.

[Fallen rose]

Bianca: I ran my hands through my dark hair, my fingers catching in the knots. "I was hit by a car," I mumbled, mostly to myself.

Dylan: I shrugged, confused. "I-I can't remember. All I know is that I was with my sister, and then, I was here."

(All of the characters have met up and are now discussing how they got here.)

Dylan: "A...crash?" I said the word slowly, as if it were unfamiliar. With that one word, I remembered something. Something to do with falling from the sky. And blood, lots of blood.
But how could that had happened. How could I have just fallen from the sky? Unless...
"A plane," I said, "Something to do with a plane."

[Gifty]

Sapphire: " I was in a car crash." I said " Thats what I remember at least." i said a little shakyer than bafore.

Shawna said nothing, but that back to the last thing she remebered before waking up. She remembered that she was going to a gymnastics competition, on a bus with the rest of the ACRO team. Then it hit her. The bus must have crashed.

"Since we all seem to be saying how we got here," Louis said, "I was also in a crash. But it wasn't a motorized vehicle. I crashed during a BMX race."

Sapphire: I looked around we had all been in some sort of crash with some sort of machiene. Why were they so interested with people from crashes, our lives were already messed up enough by that.
