Deep within the crust of the earth, there lies a forbidden facility. Taking the appearance of a city, this facility is enormous, and houses thousands. It holds children, abandoned for their differences, and hidden from the rest of the world.
Is there any chance of escape?
The children are grouped together by age, and controlled by the fear caused by The Games.
The Games are a two week long fight for survival that always takes place in a huge dome in the center of the facility. In the Dome, the terrain changes every Game, and sometimes more often. The combatants face desserts, tundra’s, rain forests and more, along with deadly, starving animals, traps, and the other children.
Most die in The Games.
The messed up adults that run this place call it 'natural selection'.
The worst part? The kids have been here so long they take it as normal.
When not in The Dome, children take classes in every subject. As well as advanced math, sciences, and languages, they also must excel in Tactics, Survival, and Combat.
Students are forced to watch The Games during a portion of their very scheduled days.

Personality: Motivated. Ember Aires will never quit. At anything. She is a fighter; determined, stubborn, and courageous to a fault. She has one mission and one mission only- survive. She has a quick temper that flares fast and often recedes just as speedily. No matter what, Ember keeps a cool head, and will not show her emotions. She doesn't trust easily, but knows when to make alliances. She is kind to those she loves, and trusts, but to hardly anyone else. Despite all this, she is not a machine; she feels for others.
Truthfully, Ember is unpredictable. She is more than just the words above.
Skills/Weapons: Quarterstaff and bow. She is an expert in stealth, tracking, and tactics.
Weaknesses/Fears: Ember is deathly afraid of fire. She keeps her feelings bottled up, and she’s not very good at getting her point across. Ember is awkward around other people unless she’s in charge, or angry. She often acts without thinking, and it gets her into trouble.
History: Ember discovered her power at age five. Her parents found out three days later and abandoned her. After living on the streets for two years, a kindly lady dropped Ember off at an orphanage, where she stayed until the Mistress discovered her power, and sent her to the facility.
Other: Ember has been at the facility a relatively short period of time. Though most kids arrive as toddlers, she arrived at age twelve.
Appearance: Ember is medium height, and tan, with pretty, dark brown eyes. The has long, dark curly hair. Down her left side is a disfigured patch of skin that looks like a big scar.

Power: Can control molecular density (be it his own or other peoples or other objects)
Personality: He is sarcastic, and very witty. But he has a fiery temper. He can sound insane, but most no it is just his sarcasm. He has a depth and knowledge that he keeps hidden.
Skills/Weapons: Master Archer, and he is skilled with karate/hand to hand combat.
Weaknesses/Fears: His temper is his biggest weakness. He is also afraid disappearing, like disintegrating. Claustrophobia is something he has to deal with as well, but he has learned to hide it. Many don't even know he is claustrophobic. He has a habit of steeling, it is just an impulse that he can't control most of the time.
History: Foster found out that he could control molecular density when he was rather young. He had an abusive dad, who locked him in a closet for punishment. One day while try to get out, and banging on the door, he fell right through. His dad scolded him, and eventually he ran away. He lived on the streets, he was caught steeling. The Police noticed that he was able to control the molecular density of things, including himself, so they sent away, seeing as he would not be good for society or people. He was seen as a special kid.
Other: He arrived at the facility at age six. He was a disturbed little boy.
Appearance: He is tall around 6'9, and tan with freckles. He has a heart shaped face. He is lanky, but has muscles. He is fast, with long legs, and a long torso. But he can make himself very small. He has bright red hair, that kind of flops on his head. He has blue eyes. He has small scars all over his body, do to some of him being left behind at places. That happened when he was younger, it doesn't any more, since he has more control over his power.

Power: Illusions (can make people see things and mess with their minds)
Personality: She can easily be seen as cruel and cold-hearted but it's simply because she's highly defensive...or so they hope. She sniggers a lot and doesn't really care for most's opinions as long as she's doing fine herself. At her heart, she is kind, it's just that she has toughened up from everything that has been thrown at her in life. No-one really gets close to her for fear that they'll get hurt, but really she can be loyal and a good friend.
Skills/Weapons: Aries is a master with daggers.
Weaknesses/Fears: Aries isn't all that fine with people; she tries to work out things herself and doesn't look for others for guidance. In life she has decided that she'll either make it by herself or fall alone. She's afraid of the unknown and is secretly afraid of spiders.
History: Aries grew up with a well-off family, living as a normal child until they discovered her power when her 'imaginary friend' was there in front of them at the age of 8. She soon became disclosed, refusing to talk to anyone and she soon became extremely feared.
Other: Her 'imaginary friend' that was discovered when she was in her room still is close in her conscious. With no-one really liking her, she came to talking to him.
Appearance: Aries has short black pixie-cut hair and eyes the same colour as ice. She's just above medium height and is quite slender. She seems to gave a permanent scowl on her lightly tanned face. She has a few scars down her body, but has a huge one down the length of her arm from a dagger fight that she got torn-up in.

Power: Has the gift of mimicry, which allows her to replicate one's voice exactly.
Personality: Can be described as a bit "rough around the edges" or even standoffish, but she's really not so bad, just timid. Very much on the quiet side, enjoys watching others and speculating situations. A huge thinker/ over analyzer, which could be considered as her flaw. Most of the time she's sarcastic and witty. Has trouble forming friendships because she hates commitment.
Skills/Weapons: Corey's upper hand is archery in battle, but her weapon of choice is her tranquil darts. However, she only uses those if the situation is really bad or she's outnumbered.
Weaknesses/Fears: Her temper is what usually gets her into deep trouble but most of the time she's able to keep it under lock.
History: Born into a wealthy family, her father was usually out of the house working while her mom basically raised her and her brother Max. Corey arrived at the facility at the age of 13; this was when she discovered her abilities, and that she was beyond normal. It was beyond normal childhood mockery, she could replicate a voice straight down to the exact pitch. After being sent to countless neurologists and doctors, one phycologist mentioned a facility for people like her, she'd be sure to fit in rather nicely. So, her parents packed her things and dumped her off. Eventually the phone call checkups and letters stopped from her parents, only her brother still writes her. She secretly keeps all of his letters in a shoebox under her bed; and you wouldn't touch them if you knew what was good for you.
Other: Nothing, I think. Unless I'm forgetting something...
Appearance: Corey has pale skin with contrasting dark, raven hair that frames a slim, 5"4 body. She usually ties it back, though, but down it falls at her mid section. Her eyes are unique shade of violet with navy flecks that appear a lighter shade when she's in a good mood. She's got a green stud nose piercing and an electric blue streak flowing down her fringe. Rarely, she's seen without her iPod and silver cross necklace.
