"Well I lived with my dad when I was younger." For the sake of the story he would say he was a trouble make no need to say he was abused. "I was a trouble maker and my dad like to punish me. Locked me in a closet, one day when trying to get out I fell right through the door." he laughed. "Needless to say, my dad was furious. I ran away and to survive on the streets I stole till a police officer caught me. When I easily slipped out of his hand cuffs and moving car. He sent me to an assylum who then sent me here." he left out the bits about him being altered a bit, by the people here. He wasn't really supposed to talk about it. "Not very exciting." he shrugged, "gave me quite a few bad habits."

"Yeah, but then you haven't got snow falling on you," she pointed out, "but I can't complain, you can't when you're in these circumstances, I almost seem to forget."
With a chuckle, she looked back to the boy before back to the camp. She wouldn't have set-up this place the way he did.
"So, you have green magic then?..." she asked, still looking away from him.

Ember nodded, her brow creasing in empathy. "I wish we each had a chance to start all over,"
The girl pulled her cloak tighter around her, and scooted closer to the fire. The temperature was starting to drop.

Foster took the dear hide and beganto skin it. It would be a bloody blanket but a blanket none the less. He wasn't to cold yet. He loved the cold. "If you begin to sweat take layes off you could get hypothermia." he advised. Survival was and with the length of each game never being known waiting it out after finding the shed was the worst.

"Not a chance of that right now," she assured him, as she warmed her fingers by the fire. "Tomorrow, I hope we can find a river, the water would be better to drink than snow, and it'd be a near-indefinite sourse of game- not that we need and at the moment,"

He nodded if this little hideaway place had a iver it would be perfect but the game makers never did anything to make things perfect. Things always went wrong at some point and it usually wasn't the players fault. And if UT seemed there fault they never meant it.
He sighed they were just pawns being used for amusement. "I'm not the best at skinning, but I hope this will be decent." he said, as he continued work at the hide.

"It'll be useful, no matter how it looks," Ember assured him, truthfully. Out here everything was either dangerous or useful, because anything can become a weapon or a burden.

"That's good, it'll be bloody though." He showed her how read his hands were just from skinning the thing. "Also when we leave we could put the meet onthe dry side and Carrie it in that, or stuff I in my bag.

Ember nodded, "That sounds like a plan," The thought of dealling with a bloody skin wasn't appealing, but the girl didn't voice this thought.

I know, I know, calm down...

"Could just be something like telekinesis," she pointed out, almost smirking, "but that would be quite handy in the middle of the forest: tripping up people with roots and sending man-eating plants on their butts."
Her face soon dropped into her natural scowl before taking one of the blankets that she had taken and wrapping it around her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a figure, one that she had seen many times before.
"Not now, Aspar," she whispered, smiling slightly, I'll see you tomorrow.
With a small sigh, she sat down by the edge of the fire, watching the flames flicker lightly, dancing. A deep chill went through her, sending her into a violent shake before it calmed down again.

Aspar? Who was this Aspar? No he didn't have impeccable hearing but the plants around her feet did, or a way of hearing. They felt the vibrations she had made and string them together in semblance of words which all he had to do was make sense of them, which wasn't hard.
It was quite handy actually.
"Aspar?" he hummed, strange name.
He sighed and curled up to sleep telling the plants to wake him up early.
His friends had impeccable timing.
